Eagles Hosted RB Cedric Peerman For A Visit

ESPN’s Adam Caplan reports that the Eagles hosted free agent RB Cedric Peerman for a visit on Tuesday.

This is the first reported interest in Peerman since free agency got underway close to a month ago.

Philadelphia has already signed DeMarco Murray and Ryan Mathews to market value contracts this offseason, but Peerman is really more of a special teams player.

Peerman, 28, is a former sixth round pick of the Ravens back in 2009. He was later claimed off of waivers by the Browns and has since played for the Lions and Bengals.

In 2014, Peerman appeared in all 16 games for Cincinnati and ran for 43 yards on 15 carries (2.7 YPC) to go along with three receptions for 27 yards receiving.
