Eagles Interested In Plaxico Burress?

Adam Caplan of  theSidelineView.com mentions that he sees the Eagles should be one of the team’s interested in free agent WR Plaxico Burress.

Last year the Eagles were reportedly close to signing Burress before he ultimately chose the Jets over them. There have been several reports that Burress will not be returning to the jets next season which isn’t all that surprising considering how the season ended for them.

Caplan adds that the Eagles could use him as a red-zone target instead of Riley Cooper who he says, “doesn’t fight for the football.

It’s hard to say what it take to land Burress but last year he signed with the Jets for $3 million guaranteed so I’m sure the Eagles could get him for something close to that figure if they’re interested.
