Eagles LB Nigel Bradham Suspended One Game

Field Yates of ESPN reports that Eagles LB Nigel Bradham has been suspended for the first game of the 2018 NFL season.

Tom Pelissero confirms the news and adds that Bradham’s one-game suspension stems from a July 2016 incident involving a hotel worker in South Beach.

Bradham, 28, is a former fourth-round pick of the Bills back in 2012. He played out his four-year, $2.564 million rookie contract before signing a two-year, $7 million contract that included $4.5 million guaranteed with the Eagles last year.

Bradham made a base salary of $3.5 million for the 2017 season before signing a new five-year, $40 million contract with the Eagles back in March.

In 2017, Bradham appeared in 15 games for the Eagles and recorded 88 tackles, one sack, a forced fumble, a recovery returned for a touchdown and eight pass defenses.
