Eagles LT Jason Peters Will Miss A Week Or Two, But Still Expected To Return From Torn Bicep

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media is reporting that Eagles LT Jason Peters is expected to return and play this season, despite suffering a torn biceps.

According to Rapoport, Peters could end up missing a week or two, but the good news is that this is not considered a season-ending issue.

Peters, 36, originally signed on with the Bills as an undrafted free agent out of Arkansas back in 2004. He spent five years in Buffalo before joining the Eagles in 2009.

Peters is in the second year of his three-year, $32.5 million contract that includes $15.5 million guaranteed and stands to make base salaries of $7.75 million over the final two years of the agreement.

In 2018, Peters has appeared in six games for the Eagles.
