Eagles Michael Vick Ruled Out For Week 11

Geoff Mosher of the News Journal reports that the Philadelphia Eagles have made the decision to sit QB Michael Vick for Sunday nights game against the New York Giants.

Instead, the team will most likely turn to Vince Young this weekend. Both he and Mike Kafka have worked with the first-team offense throughout the week but all of the reports leading up to today have mentioned that Young is the favorite to start in place of Vick.

Vick put together his worst game as an Eagle last week but supposedly suffered two broken ribs on the second play of the game. Other reports throughout the week mentioned that Vick was having trouble moving around. So far this season has been a huge disappointment for the Eagles and their fans. Sunday nights game could get really bad depending on well Young plays in Vick’s absence.
