Eagles Not Interested In Trading For Colt McCoy

Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports that the Eagles will most likely not be trading for Browns QB Colt McCoy, despite the recent rumors that have mentioned them as being a possible landing spot.

Philadelphia recently drafted Nick Foles in the third round and brought in Trent Edwards to compete with Mike Kafka for the backup quarterback position, so there are some question marks behind Michael Vick.

The Packers have also been rumored to be a possible trade partner for the Browns, but they too have said that they’re comfortable with who they have behind Aaron Rodgers.

Both team’s could eventually change their minds as the preseason draws closer. The fact that the Browns have reportedly dropped their asking price for McCoy should at the very least increase the number of team’s checking in on him around the NFL.
