Eagles Place WR DeSean Jackson On IR

The Philadelphia Eagles have placed WR DeSean Jackson on season-ending injured reserve after he suffered a few fractured ribs during Monday night’s loss to the Carolina Panthers, per Reuben Frank.

As if things couldn’t get any worse for Andy Reid and company, they now lose Jackson who is just one year into a five year contract.

Michael Vick and LeSean McCoy are dealing with concussions, their offensive line is in shambles, they have already fired their defensive coordinator and they’re currently a 3-8 team. Reid’s time in Philadelphia will almost certainly be coming to end, so they can at least get a look at some of the team’s young talent in the weeks to come.
