Eagles Place WR Mack Hollins On Injured Reserve

The Philadelphia Eagles announced Thursday that they’ve placed WR Mack Hollins on injured reserve.

According to Mike Garafolo, the expectation is that the Eagles will designate Hollins to return from injured reserve later on in the season.

Hollins underwent offseason sports hernia surgery before suffering a groin injury during the preseason.

Hollins, 24, is a former fourth-round pick of the Eagles back in 2017. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $3.03 million contract and set to make a base salary of $645,000 for the 2018 season.

In 2017, Hollins appeared in all 16 games for the Eagles and caught 16 passes for 226 yards receiving and one touchdown.
