Eagles Promote CB Chandon Sullivan To Active Roster

The Philadelphia Eagles announced Thursday that they’ve promoted CB Chandon Sullivan to their active roster.

Sullivan takes the roster spot of DE Derek Barnett, who has been placed on injured reserve.

Sullivan, 22, wound up signing on with the Eagles back in May as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia State. He agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract with Philadelphia, but was waived coming out of the preseason.

The Eagles re-signed him to their practice squad after he cleared waivers.

During his college career, Sullivan recorded 182 tackles, two sacks, seven interceptions, 18 pass defenses, a forced fumble, two recoveries and two defensive touchdowns over the course of four seasons and 48 games.
