Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that that the Eagles are re-signing QB Mark Sanchez.
- Mike Garafolo reports that Sanchez receives a two-year contract worth $9 million and includes $5.5 million guaranteed.
- Garafolo adds that Sanchez can make $16 million over the two years depending on him reaching incentives.
- Eliot Shorr-Parks of NJ.com reported earlier that Eagles and Sanchez have “strong mutual interest” in him being back in Philadelphia next season.
Sanchez, 28, wound up appearing in nine games and threw for 2,418 yards while completing 64.1 percent of his passes to go along with 14 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 27 quarterback out of 39 qualifying players.
