Eagles Release OLB Travis Long

The Philadelphia Eagles announced that they’ve released OLB Travis Long on Wednesday.

Long, 25, signed on with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Washington State back in 2013. He was unfortunately unable to make the team coming out of the preseason, but he was later added to their practice squad.

Philadelphia elected to bring him back on a future/reserve contract last year, but he waived with the injury designation and later placed on injured reserve after suffering a torn left ACL.

Long has yet to appear in an NFL game.
