Eagles Reportedly Fielding Trade Offers For CB Eric Rowe

Eliot Shorr-Parks of NJ.com, citing a person familiar with the situation, reports that the Eagles have CB Eric Rowe on the trading block ahead of tomorrow’s deadline to cut rosters down to 53 players.

A personnel member from another organization tells Shorr-Parks that the Eagles have actually been trying to trade Rowe for most of training camp.

Shorr-Parks adds that it remains to be seen of the Eagles will cut Rowe if they are unable to find a trade partner.

Rowe, 23, was taken in the second-round of last year’s NFL Draft. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $4.879 million rookie contract and stands to make a base salary of $525,000 for the 2016 season.

In 2015, Rowe appeared in all 16 games for the Eagles and recorded 31 tackles, on interceptions and five pass defenses.
