Other Moves:

Hackenberg, 23, is a former second-round pick of the Jets back in 2016. He’s entering the final year of his four-year, $4.7 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $1.08 million for the 2018 season.

The Jets traded Hackenberg to the Raiders last month for a conditional seventh-round pick. However, Oakland waived him a few months ago and he later signed on with the Eagles for the preseason.

During his three-year college career at Penn State, Hackenberg threw for 8,457 yards while completing 56.1 percent of his passes to go along with 48 touchdowns and 31 interceptions.

Callahan, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Wesley College back in May of last year. He was able to make the 53-man roster as the team’s No. 3 quarterback coming out of the preseason but was later cut loose.

Callahan had brief stints with the Saints and Browns before returning to the Packers during the 2016 season. Green Bay cut Callahan loose as they trimmed their roster down to 53 players and he was later signed to their practice squad. After Rodgers went down with a collarbone injury, the Packers promoted Callahan to their active roster.

The Packers re-signed Callahan as an exclusive rights free agent this past April but he was later waived and signed by the Eagles.

In 2017, Callahan appeared in one game for the Packers and completed five of seven pass attempts for 11 yards and no touchdowns of interceptions.
