Eagles & S Chris Maragos Agree To Restructured Deal

Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Eagles and S Chris Maragos have agreed to a reworked deal that eliminates the 2019 season of his contract.

Maragos, who is currently on the PUP list, is now set to make up to $1.75 million in 2018 and will be a free agent next year.

Maragos, 31, originally signed on with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Wisconsin back in 2010. He spent just over a year with the 49ers before he was waived and later and later signed to the Seahawks’ practice squad.

It wasn’t until 2014 that Maragos joined the Eagles. He was in the third year of his four-year, $7.5 million contract.

In 2017, Maragos appeared in six games and recorded 11 tackles for the Eagles before being placed on injured reserve.
