The Philadelphia Eagles announced Wednesday that they’ve signed CB JaCorey Shepherd to their practice squad and released G Darrell Greene from the unit.

The Eagles’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. RB Byron Marshall
  2. CB JaCorey Shepherd
  3. DT Aziz Shittu
  4. WR David Watford
  5. LB Don Cherry
  6. FB Andrew Bonnet
  7. WR Paul Turner
  8. C Aaron Neary
  9. CB C.J. Smith
  10. QB Aaron Murray

Shepherd, 23, was taken in the sixth-round of last year’s NFL draft by the Eagles. He signed a four-year, $2,401,112 contract with Philadelphia and was set to make a base salary of $525,000 when he was cut loose coming out of the preseason.

Last year, Shepherd, unfortunately, sustained a torn right ACL and subsequently missed the entire 2015 season.

During his college career, Shepherd recorded 90 tackles, a sack, no interceptions, a forced fumble, two recoveries and 24 pass defenses over the course of four seasons.
