Eagles Sign Doug Pederson & Howie Roseman To Extensions Through 2022

The Philadelphia Eagles announced Sunday that they’ve signed Howie Roseman and Doug Pederson to contract extensions through the 2022 season.

We are thrilled to solidify continuity in our organization’s leadership with the extensions of Doug Pederson and Howie Roseman, whose collaborative partnership helped deliver our city its first Super Bowl Championship,” said Chairman and CEO Jeffrey Lurie. “Doug and Howie are committed to the success of our franchise by ensuring that we remain competitive, both in the short and long term. That unified vision for the future of our team is what gives us the best chance to win moving forward.”

Pederson, 50, began his NFL coaching career with the Eagles as their offensive control coordinator in 2009. He worked his way up to QBs coach before following Andy Reid to Kansas City and becoming the Chiefs’ offensive coordinator in 2013.

The Eagles picked up Pederson’s option a few months ago, which left him under team control through the 2020 season.

During his two years in charge of the Eagles, Pederson has led them to a record of 20-12 (62.5 percent), which includes one trip to the playoffs and a Super Bowl title.

Roseman, 43, began working for the Eagles as a salary cap analyst back in 200. Since then, Roseman has held a number of positions over the past 18 years including GM and executive VP of football operations.

Under Roseman, the Eagles have produced a record of 69-59 and three playoff appearances, which includes a Super Bowl title in 2018.
