Eagles Sign DT Justin Hamilton To Futures Deal

The Philadelphia Eagles announced that they’ve signed DT Justin Hamilton to a reserve/future contract on Monday.

The Eagles have now signed 15 players to futures deals since their season ended. The full list includes:

  2. TE Anthony Denham
  3. G Darrell Green
  4. CB Aaron Grymes
  5. WR Marcus Johnson
  6. C Aaron Neary
  7. DT Aziz Shittu
  8. WR David Watford
  9. WR Rasheed Bailey
  10. CB Mitchell White
  11. FB Andrew Bonnet
  12. G Josh LeRibeus
  13. WR Dom Williams
  14. Dallas Thomas
  15. DT Justin Hamiton

Future/reserve contracts are essentially an opportunity for players compete for a roster spot in offseason workouts and during training camp.

Hamilton, 23, originally signed on with the Bills as an undrafted free agent out of Louisiana-Lafayette back in 2015. He lasted just a few months in Buffalo before catching on with the Packers during the 2015 season.

Hamilton later signed on to the Seahawks’ practice squad and returned to Seattle on a future/reserve contract a year ago. He was on and off of their practice squad throughout the season.

Hamilton has yet to appear in an NFL game.
