Eagles Sign ILB Brad Jones To A Two-Year Contract

The Philadelphia Eagles announced Monday that they’ve signed former Packers ILB Brad Jones to a two-year contract.

Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reported earlier in the day that the Eagles were hosting Jones for a visit on Monday.

He also met with the Titans this past weekend, but it appears as though the Eagles moved quickly to get a deal in place.

Jones, 28, was released in a move that freed up $3,693,750 in available cap space for Green Bay. He signed a three-year, $11.75 million contract with the Packers that included $3 million guaranteed a few years ago.

In 2014, he recorded 18 tackles and a pass defense over the course of 13 games.
