Eagles Sign LS Jon Dorenbos To Three-Year Extension

Eagles HC Doug Pederson announced Friday that they’ve signed long snapper Jon Dorenbos to a three-year contract extension.

This comes just a day after the Eagles locked up S Chris Maragos to a three-year deal.

“Excited to have Dorenbos and Maragos extended, helps me sleep at night,” Pederson said of the moves, per Les Bowen.

Dorenbos, 36, originally signed on with the Bills as an undrafted free agent out of UTEP back in 2003. He spent just over two years with the Bills before catching on with the Titans during the 2005 season.

The Eagles would eventually sign Dorenbos to a contract towards the end of the 2006 season and he’s remained in Philadelphia ever since.

Dorenbos has been very reliable, as he hasn’t missed a single game since joining the team.
