The Philadelphia Eagles announced Monday that they’ve signed QB Nick Foles to a two-year contract.
- According to Mike Garafolo, Foles receives a two-year, $11 million contract with $7 million guaranteed.

Foles had come up as a potential option for the Vikings and Buccaneers, but it appears he’ll be returning to the team that drafted him years ago.
What’s most interesting about this move is that it appears to be further indication that Chase Daniel won’t be back with the team. Daniel has reportedly been available for trade for a few months now, but there hadn’t been any updates in recent days about him possibly being moved.
However, the signing of Foles could change all of this.
Foles, 28, is a former third-round pick of the Eagles back in 2012. Philadelphia traded Foles to the Rams back in 2015 in a deal for QB Sam Bradford and he later signed an extension with the Rams.
Unfortunately, Foles lasted just over a year with the Rams before he was released last summer. The Chiefs later signed him to a two-year, $12.5 million contract, which included a $6.75 million option for the 2017 season.
In 2016, Foles appeared in three games and threw for 410 yards while completing 65.5 percent of his passes to go along with three touchdowns and no interceptions.
