Eagles Sign TE Chris Pantale To Futures Deal

The Philadelphia Eagles officially signed TE Chris Pantale to a future/reserve contract on Thursday.

Pantale will be the 8th player to sign a future’s deal with the Eagles. The other players include:

  1. RB Kevin Monangai
  2. LB Brandon Hepburn
  3. NT Travis Raciti
  4. G Brett Boyko
  5. LB Deontae Skinner
  6. G Malcolm Bunche
  7. WR Freddie Martino

Pantale, 25, signed on with the Jets as an undrafted free agent out of Boston College back in April of 2013. He was on and off of the team’s practice squad during his two years in New York before he was placed waivers shortly after last year’s draft.

The Bears elected to claim him off of waivers, but wound up being among their final roster. Pantale briefly caught on with the Eagles at the start of the regular season.

In 2014, Pantale appeared in five games for the Jets and total 24 kick return yards, but no receptions.
