Eagles Signing Veteran DB Corey Graham To One-Year Deal

Jason La Canfora is reporting that the Eagles are signing veteran DB Corey Graham to a one-year contract on Thursday.

The Eagles have clearly been looking for defensive back help and Graham was among the best available players.

Graham, 32, is a former fifth-round pick of the Bears back in 2007. He spent five years in Chicago before signing on with the Ravens in 2012.

The Bills later added him on a four-year, $16,300,000 that included $8.1 million guaranteed in 2014. He was set to make a base salary of $3,225,000 in 2017 when the Bills released him in a move that freed up $4,050,000 in available cap space back in March.

In 2016, Graham appeared in all 16 games for the Bills and recorded 88 total tackles, one sack, one interception, one fumble recovery, and nine pass defenses. Pro Football Focus graded him as the No. 37 overall safety out of 89 qualifying players.
