Eagles Sixth-Round CB JaCorey Shepherd Has Torn ACL

The Philadelphia Eagles announced that an MRI revealed that sixth-round CB JaCorey Shepherd tore his right ACL and will miss the remainder of the this.

This is terribly disappointing news for the young player and the Eagles, who just traded Brandon Boykin to the Steelers with the intention of giving Shepherd an opportunity to win the slot corner job.

Shepherd, 22, signed a four-year, $2,401,112 contract with the Eagles and stands to make a base salary of $435,000 for the 2015 season.
