Eagles Think Vick Can Plan On Sunday

Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg mentioned that he remains “optimistic” that Michael Vick will be able to play on Sunday despite suffering two broken ribs last weekend, via the Philadelphia Inquirer & Daily News.

“He’s a tough guy and he wants to play,” said Mornhinweg, “He’s tough mentally and physically and he’s doing everything he can, so we’ll see.”
Other reports have suggested that Vick not be able to play in Week 11 and we’ve also covered the Eagles contingency plan if Vick is unable to go. At this point it’s safe to say that the situation remains fluid and Vick will likely be a game-time decision.
