Eagles Trying Out QB Everett Golson This Weekend

Adam Caplan reports that the Eagles are expected to bring in undrafted QB Everett Golson for a tryout during their upcoming rookie minicamp.

  • Zach Berman reports that there are 26 players in total trying out for the Eagles this weekend.

Golson previously tried out for the Colts, but didn’t receive a contract offer from the team, according to Caplan.

Golson, 23, wound up going undrafted a few weeks ago and is now looking to secure an invite to training camp.

Golson spent three years at Notre Dame before transferring to Florida State for his senior year.

In total, Golson threw for 7,628 yards while completing 61.2 percent of his passes to go along with 52 touchdowns and 23 interceptions. He also ran for 546 yards and scored 14 rushing touchdowns.
