Eagles Waive CB Randall Goforth With Injury Designation

The Philadelphia Eagles announced Wednesday that they’ve placed CB Randall Goforth on waivers with an injury designation.

Goforth would revert to the injured reserve list if he officially passes through waivers unclaimed.

Goforth, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of UCLA back in May. He stands to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the agreement.

During his college career, Goforth recorded 250 tackles, five tackles for a loss, 10 interceptions, four forced fumbles, three recoveries, 20 pass defenses and two defensive touchdowns over the course of 53 games.
