Eagles Waive LB Emmanuel Acho, Promote WR Jonathan Krause

The Philadelphia Eagles announced Tuesday that they’ve promoted WR Jonathan Krause to their active roster and waived LB Emmanuel Acho.

Acho, 24, is a former sixth-round pick of the Browns back in 2012. He spent one year in Cleveland before he was traded to the Eagles in return for RB Dion Lewis.

Acho had a brief stint with the Giants before returning to the Eagles in October of 2013. Philadelphia elected to bring him back on a future/reserve contract back in January, but he was unfortunately cut loose at the start of the season.

Philadelphia later re-signed Acho after they lost rookie ILB Jordan Hicks is out for the year with a torn pectoral muscle.

Last year, Acho appeared in 14 games for the Eagles and recorded 31 tackles.
