Eagles Waive WR Deon Long & OL Malcolm Bunche

The Philadelphia Eagles announced Sunday that they’ve placedĀ OL Malcolm Bunche and WR Deon Long on waivers.

Long, 25, originally signed on with the Titans as an undrafted free agent out of Maryland back in May of last year. He lasted just a few months in Tennessee before he was waived at the start of the season and later signed on to the Dolphins’ practice squad.

The Rams would later sign him to a future/reserve contract in January before cutting him loose a few weeks ago after an incident that involved him bringing a women into his room during training camp. The Eagles just signed him to a contract a little over a week ago.

During his college career at both New Mexico and Maryland, Long caught 130 passes for 1,873 yards receiving and seven touchdowns. He also contributed another 425 kick return yards and a touchdown on special teams.
