Eagles Waive WR Paul Turner

The Eagles waived WR Paul Turner, who was a training camp standout, according to Dave Zangaro.

Turner, 23, signed with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Louisiana Tech.

The Eagles hope to be add him to the practice squad if he clears waivers.

Turner had 87 receptions and 1,171 yards and seven touchdowns in his two seasons at LA Tech.

Turner had an injury riddled college career, dealing with a lingering groin issue in Junior season, which resulted in two missed games and offseason surgery. His Senior season, Turner dealt with a broken nose, causing him to miss practice time, and a hamstring injury which caused him to miss two more games and lingered until end of the season.
