Eagles Waiving CB Tay Glover-Wright, WR Keevan Lucas & WR David Watford

The Philadelphia Eagles announced that they have waived WR Keevan Lucas, WR David Watford, and CB Tay Glover-Wright.

Glover-Wright, 25, originally signed on with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Utah State back in 2014. He was waived during the preseason, but later signed a future/reserve contract with the Packers.

Unfortunately, Glover-Wright was among the Packers’ final roster cuts at the start of the season. He later signed to the Colts’ practice squad and was eventually promoted to the active roster to close the year.

Glover-Wright was on and off of the Colts’ practice squad last year and actually worked out for the Eagles last December but wasn’t signed to a contract.

The Eagles signed him to a one-year contract a month ago, making his stint in Philadelphia short-lived.

In 2015, Glover-Wright appeared in two games for the Colts after being called up from their practice squad.

Lucas wound up going undrafted out of Tulsa back in May. This will be his first opportunity with an NFL team.

During his four-year college career, Lucas caught 240 passes for 3,250 yards receiving and 32 touchdowns. He also rushed for 230 yards over the course of 41 games.
