Eagles Worked Out 3 Players Including LB Eric Pinkins

According to Adam Caplan, the Eagles worked out three linebackers on Monday including Eric PinkinsLamar Louis, and James Burgess.

Pinkins, 25, was taken in the sixth-round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Seahawks. He was waived at the start of the regular season last year but signed to their practice squad a day later. Pinkins was on and off of their practice squad throughout most of the year.

He later returned to Seattle on an exclusive rights contract back in March. Seattle waived him with an injury designation, which led to him being placed on injured reserve.

The Seahawks ended up cutting Pinkins loose from I.R. with a settlement.

In 2015, Pinkins appeared in six games for the Seahawks and recorded two tackles

Louis, 22, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of LSU. He managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but was unfortunately waived with an injury designation in recent weeks.

Louis was active for the team’s season-opener but did not record a single statistic. The Cardinals waived him with an injury designation later that week and placed him on injured reserve after clearing waivers.

During his college career, Louis recorded 96 tackles, 3.5 tackles for a loss, no sacks, a forced fumble, a recovery and two pass defenses.
