Eagles Worked Out 8 Playing Including DB Brandian Ross & WR Corey Washington

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Eagles worked out eight players including DB Brandian Ross and WR Corey Washington.

The other players who worked out for Philadelphia includes: LB Jordan DeWalt-Ondijo, LB Brandon Hepburn, DL Toby Johnson, DL Brian Mihalik, DB Trovon Reed, and DB Robert Steeples.

Ross, 25, originally signed on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Youngstown State back in 2011. Since then, Ross has played for the Raiders and Dolphins before later returning to Oakland after he was claimed off of waivers from Miami.

The Raiders wound up re-signing to a restricted deal worth $1.542 million back in April, but he was later released from their injured reserve list.

In 2014, Ross appeared in 14 games for the Raiders and recorded 55 tackles, two interceptions, a forced fumble and six pass defenses.

Washington, 23, originally signed on with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Newberry back in May of last year. He lasted just a few weeks with the Cardinals before he was waived and later claimed by the Giants.

Unfortunately for Washington, he was among the Giants’ final roster at the start of the regular season and was later waived from the injured reserve list with an injury settlement.

In 2014, Washington appeareed in 14 games for the Giants and caught five passes for 52 yards receiving and a touchdown.
