Eagles Working To Re-Sign CB Patrick Robinson

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Eagles are “working to retain” free agent CB Patrick Robinson.

Previous reports have said that the Eagles had opened contract talks with Robinson and he was expected to draw interest from the Giants if available.

Robinson, 30, is a former first-round pick of the Saints back in 2010. He spent five years in New Orleans before signing a three-year, $14 million contract with the Colts that included $6 million guaranteed.

The Colts elected to come him loose last March and he eventually signed a one-year contract with the Eagles.

In 2017, Robinson appeared in all 16 games for the Eagles and recorded 47 tackles, one sack, four interceptions and 18 pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 4 cornerback out of 120 qualifying players.

We have him featured in our Top 100  – 2018 NFL Free Agents list.
