Tim McManus of Philly Mag confirms that WR DeSean Jackson will be fined $10,000 by the NFL for throwing a punch at Ravens CB Cary Williams.
Jackson and Williams got tangled up and what started in pushing and shoving ended up with the WR throwing a punch before officials and teammate seperated them.
“I caught a ball and a defender got in my face and I pushed him out of my face. It went from one push to another push and eventually went to some blows. A lineman grabbed me from behind. Gladly nobody was thrown out.”
DeSean Jackson wasn’t the only player to receive a fine, teammate Cullen Jenkins is also being fiend $7,875 for an unnecessary roughness.
