Eagles WR Josh Huff Arrested, Was Speeding & Had Marijuana & Gun On Him

Zach Berman mentions that Eagles WR Josh Huff has been charged for a DUI, speeding, and an obstructed view due to tinted windows.

Huff also has a criminal summons for possessing under 50 grams of marijuana and two warrants for unlawful possession of a firearm and prohibited weapons for hollow-points.

Regardless of his recent arrest, Eliot Shorr-Parks reports that Huff will attend the Eagles’ practice on Wednesday.

Stephen McKenzie of CBS 3 is reporting that Eagles WR Josh Huff was arrested Tuesday after he was speeding. Sources tell McKenzie that Huff had marijuana and a gun on him at the time.

  • According to Dave Schratwiser, Huff was stopped near Walt Whitman for speeding and police allegedly found a “personal use“quantity of marijuana and a gun in his car.

The Eagles released the following statement (via Tim McManus) regarding the incident involving Huff:

“We are aware of the incident today involving Josh Huff. At this point, we are gathering more information.

Huff, 25, is a former third-round pick of the Eagles back in 2014. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $2,820,944 contract and stands to make a base salary of $615,000 for the 2016 season.

This season, Huff has appeared in seven games for the Eagles and caught 13 passes for 72 yards receiving and a touchdown to go along with three rushing attempts for 10 yards. He has also totaled 252 kick return yards and a touchdown for the Eagles on special teams.
