Eagles WR Mike Wallace Earns $585K Bonus For Weighing Less Than 250 lbs On Monday

According to Field Yates of ESPN, new Eagles WR Mike Wallace will earn a $585,000 incentive on Monday if he weighs less than 250 pounds at the start of the team’s offseason program.

Yates notes that Wallace is listed on the roster as being just 200 pounds, so this should be easy money for him.

The Eagles signed Wallace to just a one-year contract worth $2.5 million plus incentives, which seems like a bargain.

Wallace, 31, is a former third-round pick of the Steelers back in 2009. He spent four years in Pittsburgh before signing on with the Dolphins in 2013.

Wallace was later traded to the Vikings before the cut him loose after one season. The Raven later signed him to a  two-year, $11.5 million contract that included a $4.75 million signing bonus.

In 2017, Wallace appeared in 15 games for the Ravens and caught 52 passes for 748 yards receiving and four touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 51 receiver out of 116 qualifying players.
