Eliot Wolf Agrees To Four-Year Deal With Browns

Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports that Eliot Wolf has agreed to a four-year contract with the Browns to join their front office under GM John Dorsey. According to La Canfora, Wolf will be the Browns’ assistant GM.

The Packers were hoping to retain Wolf, even though he was skipped over for the GM position when they hired Brian Gutekunst earlier this week.

Reports mentioned that Wolf had an offer from the Raiders’ as well, but it appears as though he felt that Cleveland was the best fit for him.

The Browns have been reshaping their front office with former Packers executives. After hiring Dorsey, Cleveland lured Alonzo Highsmith away from Green Bay and have now added Wolf to their personnel department.

Wolf has been a popular GM candidate in recent years, so it won’t be surprising to see his name continue to come up in GM searches over the next few years.
