“Extremely Slim” Chance C.J. Spiller Plays In Week 8

Joe Buscaglia reports that a league source informed him that Bills RB C.J. Spiller has an “extremely slim” chance of suiting up against the Saints this weekend.

Spiller has been playing through an ankle injury, which has limited his overall productivity and usage in recent weeks. Fred Jackson is dealing with a knee injury, but he expects to play on Sunday.

Spiller is average four yards per carry this season, but only has a total 362 yards rushing and 36 yards receiving. He has only scored a single touchdown in what has been a larger disappointing season for the Bills running back.

Hopefully a week of rest will help him get back to being a productive running back this season.
