Falcons Cut 13 Players, Place OT Lamar Holmes On PUP List

The Atlanta Falcons announced Sunday that they’ve cut their roster down to 76 players before Tuesday’s deadline.

The list of players either waived or released includes:

• LB Boris Anyama
• WR Marquez Clark
• RB Michael Ford
• WR John Harris
• DT Warren Herring
• NT Derrick Hopkins
• OT Matt Huffer
• CB Michael Lee
• G Eric Lefeld
• LB Terrell Manning
• DE Sam Meredith
• C Valerian Ume-Ezeoke
• TE Mickey Shuler

The Falcons also placed veteran OT Lamar Holmes on the Physically Unable to Perform list, which will cost him the first six games of the season.

Holmes, 26, is entering the final year of his four-year, $2.633 million rookie contract that included a $533,600 signing bonus. He’ll make a base salary of $660,000 for the 2015 season.
