Falcons Place DT Jack Crawford On Injured Reserve

The Atlanta Falcons announced Tuesday that they’ve placed DT Jack Crawford on injured reserve with a biceps injury.

It’s worth mentioning that the Falcons worked out DE Sterling Bailey, DE Pat O’Connor, DE Devin Taylor, DE Nicholas Williams, and DE Jonathan Woodardon Monday.

Crawford, 29, is a former fifth-round pick of the Raiders back in 2012. He lasted just over two years in Oakland before he was waived at the start of the 2014 season and later signed by the Cowboys.

Dallas elected to bring Crawford back on a one-year contract last year and he agreed to another one-year deal with the Falcons this past March.

In 2017, Crawford appeared in four games and recorded five tackles and no sacks for the Falcons. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 86 interior defender out of 120 qualifying players.
