Report: Bears & Falcons Are Most Involved Teams For S Ron Parker

Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports that he Bears and Falcons the two most involved teams in regards to free agent S Ron Parker.

As of now, the Buccaneers, Dolphins, Chiefs, Eagles, Giants, and Jets have all come up as potential options for Parker.

Adam Beasley reports that the Dolphins’ interest in free agent S Ron Parker is “quite real.”

However, Beasley mentions that there is some “serious competition” for his services as he has six to eight legitimate suitors at this point in time.

Roy Cummings reports that the Buccaneers are “definitely” in market for Chiefs free agent S Ron Parker and there appears to be “mutual interest.”

  • Rich Cimini also suggested Parker as a name to watch for the Jets.

Rand Getlin of Yahoo Sports reports that Chiefs free agent S Ron Parker has a “healthy market” developing that includes seven interested teams thus far.

According to Getlin, the Buccaneers, Falcons, Jets, and Giants are among the interested teams in Parker so far, along with the Chiefs.

Terez A. Paylor previously reported that Parker could be targeting as much as $6 million per year in his next contract.

Parker, 27, appeared in all 16 games last year and recorded 94 tackles, one sack, one interception, a forced fumble and 12 pass defenses for the Chiefs. Pro Football Focus has Parker rated as the No. 73 safety out of 87 qualifying players last year.
