This doesn’t come as a big surprise, considering that Clayborn suffered a torn bicep during Saturday’s win over the Seahawks.
Clayborn’s injury occurred early on in Saturday’s game and was ruled out for the remainder of the contest soon after.
Clayborn, 28, is a former first-round pick of the Buccaneers back in 2011. He’s currently in the first year of his two-year, $9 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $3.75 million for the 2017 season.
In 2016, Clayborn appeared in 13 games for the Falcons and recorded 22 tackles, 4.5 sacks and a fumble recovery returned for a touchdown. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 56 edge rusher out of 109 qualifying players.
