The Atlanta Falcons have re-signed restricted free agent WR Taylor Gabriel, according to Kelsey Conway.
The second-round tender will cost the Falcons $2.746 million for the 2017 season.
Gabriel, 26, originally signed on with the Browns as an undrafted free agent out of Abilene Christian. The Browns elected to waive Gabriel after two years at the start of the 2016 season and he was later claimed off of waivers by the Falcons.
In 2016, Gabriel appeared in 13 games and caught 35 passes for 579 yards receiving and six touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 19 receiver out of 115 qualifying players.
