The Atlanta Falcons announced the signing of DT Theo Agnew on Friday.

Agnew actually tried out for the Falcons during their rookie minicamp. He originally started his college career at the University of Massachusetts before transferring to Georgia State in 2012.
During his four-year college career, Agnew recorded 190 tackles, 18.5 tackles for a loss, three sacks, two forced fumbles and two recoveries over the course of 33 games.
This move comes just a day after former first-round pick DT Peria Jerry retired from the NFL.
