Falcons Sign Entire Draft Class, Including Second-Round LB Deion Jones

The Atlanta Falcons announced that they have signed their entire six-man draft class, including second-round rookie LB Deion Jones.

The Falcons officially signed first-round pick S Keanu Neal on Wednesday and now have their remaining draft class under contract.

Their entire draft class includes: Neal, Jones, Stanford TE Austin Hooper, Minnesota LB De’Vondre Campbell, San Jose State G Wes Schweitzer, and UCLA WR Devin Fuller.

Jones, 21, was selected with the No. 52 overall pick by the Falcons in the second round. He gained a lot of attention during the pre-draft process for his athleticism and gained comparisons to Buccaneers LB Lavonte David.

According to OverTheCap.com, Jones is set to receive a four-year rookie contract worth up to $4,545,636.

Over the course of four years at LSU, Jones accumulated 152 total tackles, 20 tackles for a loss, five sacks, four pass defenses, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and one interception that was returned for a touchdown.
