Falcons Sign LB Nate Stupar To An Extension

The Atlanta Falcons announced Tuesday that they’ve signed exclusive rights free agent LB Nate Stupar to a contract extension, per Jay Adams.

Stupar, 26, is a former seventh-round pick (230th overall) of the Oakland Raiders back in 2012. He’s also played for the Raiders, Eagles, 49ers, and Jaguars since entering the league.

The Falcons claimed him off of waivers from Jacksonville at the start of the 2014 regular season.

In 2014, Stupar appeared in 15 games and finished the season ranked second on the team with nine (seven solo) special teams tackles.
