Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Falcons have agreed to terms with LB Sean Weatherspoon following his visit on Thursday.
- Rapoport adds that Weatherspoon receives a one-year contract from the Falcons.
Weatherspoon had said previously that he was interested in returning to Atlanta and it appears as though the feeling was mutual.
Weatherspoon, 28, is a former first-round pick of the Falcons back in 2010. He played out his rookie contract with the Falcons and sat out a year before signing a one-year contract with the Cardinals last year.
In 2015, Weatherspoon appeared in 14 games for the Cardinals and recorded 11 tackles.
