Falcons Sign OL Austin Pasztor & CB Leon McFadden To One-year Extensions

The Atlanta Falcons announced Tuesday that they’ve signed OL Austin Pasztor and CB Leon McFadden to one-year extensions.

McFadden, 27, is a former third-round pick of the Browns back in 2013. He lasted just over a year in Cleveland before he was waived and later claimed by the Jets.

After brief stints with the 49ers and Cardinals, McFadden signed to the Giants’ active roster in 2015 and returned to the team on a future/reserve contract. However, he was unfortunately among their roster cuts coming out of the preseason last year.

The Cowboys signed him to their practice squad in 2016 before eventually calling him up. Dallas later cut him loose with an injury settlement at the start of the 2017 season.

McFadden signed on with the Falcons in December and finished out the year in Atlanta.

In 2016, McFadden appeared in nine games for the Cowboys and recorded eight tackles and no interceptions.
