The Atlanta Falcons announced Wednesday that they’ve signed offensive lineman Jared Smith to a contract.
Smith, 24, is a former seventh-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2013. He was on and off of the team’s practice squad during the 2013 season until he was waived back in July of last year.
During his college career, he was a defensive lineman and recorded 129 tackles (59 solo) 12.5 sacks, 26 tackles for loss, three forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery.
He has yet to appear in an NFL game.
