Falcons Sign RB Evan Royster, CB Travis Howard, & LB Terrell Manning, Cut OL DeMarcus Love

The Atlanta Falcons announced the signing of RB Evan Royster, CB Travis Howard, and LB Terrell Manning on Sunday, as well as the release of OL DeMarcus Love.

Love, 27, is a former sixth-round pick of the Minnesota Vikings back in 2011. Since entering the league, he has had brief stints with the Jaguars, Giants, Saints and Broncos.

The Falcons just signed him to a contract a few weeks ago, so it appears as though they prefer their other  offensive line options.

Manning, 25, is a former fifth-round pick of the Green Bay Packers back in 2012. However, he lasted just one year with the team before he was placed on waivers.

Since then, Manning has played for the Chargers, Vikings, Giants, Dolphins, Bears and Bengals before the Giants signed him in November of last year. However, New York waived him shortly after this year’s draft.

In 2014, Manning appeared in four games and has recorded a single tackle.

Royster, 27, is a former sixth-round pick of the Redskins back in 2011. He spent three years in Washington before he was cut loose right before the start of the 2014 season.

Royster last appeared in an NFL game during the 2013 season.
